New Season of Adult Improv Classes Starts​ Aug. 4!

Due to overwhelming demand, we’re launching another season of Modjeska Playhouse’s Unscripted training program beginning August 4, 2019.

We’re offering two classes, a beginning (Prologue) and intermediate (Act One), for those interested in learning the art of narrative improvisation from members of our Modjeska Unscripted Theater company.

THE PROLOGUE: BEGINNING IMPROV
Sundays, August 4 – September 29, 2019
(No classes Sept. 1 for Labor Day weekend.)
TIME: 1:30-3:30 p.m. 
TUITION: $275

This class is created for students with little or no improvisation training. Over the course of the class, students will learn the basic rules of Unscripted theater through games and exercises culminating in an end of the class demonstration for your friends and family.

ACT ONE: INTERMEDIATE IMPROV
Sundays, August 4 – September 29, 2019
(No classes Sept. 1 for Labor Day weekend.)
TIME: 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
TUITION: $275

ACT ONE is the next step in your narrative journey. With a focus on Characters and Relationships and how they are necessary to tell well-rounded stories, this class is the foundation to learning the MUT style of Unscripted Theater. This class is recommended for students who already have acting or Improvisation experience.
