MPH Summer Theatre Camp for Kids – July 7-27

Get your kids out of the house and on to the stage this summer!

Modjeska Playhouse is thrilled to announce our Summer Theatre Camp for Kids!

From July 8 – 27, we’re opening up our theater to children in grades 4th thru 6th for a fun and exciting three-week intensive acting course, culminating in a performance for friends and family.

Your children will learn from Modjeska Playhouse Company Members as they lead the class through exercises, theatre games, and rehearsals, ending with a performance of American Tall Tales, an original play written by Modjeska Playhouse. (We mounted a previous production of American Tall Tales as a mainstage play in 2015.)

American Tall Tales tells the stories of Johnny Appleseed, Paul Bunyan, Pecos Bill, and Slue Foot Sue, along with the help of Annie Oakley. The show has lots of laughs, a little music, and is perfect for the entire family.

Classes/Rehearsals run Monday thru Thursday, July 8 – 25, 5-7 p.m.
Performance is Saturday, July 27. (Time TBD)
